The Heartbreaker

The Kid has become a heart breaker.  Leaving women to go find something more exciting.  In fact when he leaves the women start to cry since he doesn’t even wave good-bye.

We were shopping in Carter’s and decided we would let the Kid run around and get some energy out.  Which ended up making me want to curl up in a corner and cry until someone came to save me.

The Kid was running through the vast amounts of apparel and came upon a damsel in distress who wanted out of her stroller.  They instantly locked eyes, smiled and laughed, it was looked almost like love at first sight, but then quickly without asking her name got distracted and moved on.

The Kid then began to scamper throughout the store but after 2 minutes felt like he couldn’t hold back anymore.  He went to the lady.  At this point in time she was crying, probably because her heart was broken from the first time they looked at each other and he just left.  As soon as the Kid had shown up, the lady stopped crying and smiled.  They exchanged a short conversation which didn’t sound like it involved giving each other their phone numbers or even names at that.

Without hesitation, the Kid ran off again.  As he left, I couldn’t help but laugh and ask him,

“Are you even going to wave goodbye?”

At which point he proceeded to just wave bye, and the lady was not even in his line of sight.  After which I heard the lady cry as her mom was taking her out of the store.

It sounds like I have a lot to teach the Kid about women, like GET THEIR NUMBER atleast.   What do I know though I’ve been out of the game for about 4 years!

Solid advice…however he may want to learn to communicate less like a caveman before asking for a lady’s digits!
