When we had our first, I had no clue what I was in for. To be completely honest, I had no clue how to hold a baby, change a diaper, feed a baby, let alone all of the other things that we would need.

Diaper Bag

As a dad, this is one of the areas that I had the hardest time giving up my masculinity. I wanted something manly, something that I wouldn’t be embarrassed to go out sporting around my shoulder as we walked the zoo. As much as I would like to say that cargo shorts work that way with men, sometimes you just can’t carry everything that you need into the 15 small pockets you have on your shorts.

Realizing though much of the time I would walking with our son in a stroller, I understood that I wasn’t giving up my masculinity much… if at all by carrying around a bag that looked like a purse. Stroller
