I have never even really given a belt much thought. I would just go into the store find one that fits and is functional to go with the many different outfits that I wear on a given basis during the week.
I have gone through a couple belts as a matter of fact. I have owned a few reversible belts too which just end up breaking from turning them around so you can go from black to brown given your outfit for that day. Not to mention that recently, I have been on a weight loss kick and down nearly 25 pounds since buying many of those belts.
As you can imagine many of them are too big for me now. But that is where the Kore Essentials Trakline belts come in.
This is a completely new style of belt. One that doesn’t have the holes that you are used to when you adjust the belt and that will sometimes either cause the belt to too tight or too loose. Never really giving you a good fit. The Trakline belts basically act like zip ties when you put them on, but you’ll be able to get them off without cutting the belt… of course.
To be honest, when I got the belt, the buckle wasn’t on and the belt came to be extremely long. There are instructions on how to size it to fit, which I found confusing. I ended up just wrapping the belt around me estimating where I should cut the extra off at and ended up getting a good fit.
The great thing is that if you are losing weight like me, you will be able to shorten this belt no problem by cutting off the inches as you lose the inches.
The other great thing is that the buckle snaps on to the belt. I know it sounds strange but trust me, it fits snaps on tight and won’t move. I’m hard on my belts and most of them feel uncomfortable if I am sitting down for an extended period of time and the Trakline belts are anything but uncomfortable.
There were some times while wearing this belt that took some adjusting to get used to. When you had to go to the bathroom instead of unbuckling your belt you had to hit the tab under the buckle in order to loosen it. Again, just took some getting used to because this belt doesn’t work like a normal belt.
I say normal very loosely. Because, it is a belt, keeps your pants up and is very functional. The differences are that you can change out your belt buckle for whatever style that you want to use. They also say that the undercarriage of the belt buckles act as a bottle opener which I did not test but I am sure will come in very handy.
I will say that this will not be my last Kore Essentials Trakline belt. I am already looking to getting my next one because I love it that much already. I would highly recommend it.
The Kore Essentials Trakline belt starts at $49.95 and can be purchased through their website.
